Advisory
Advisers who work in the same record as you.
The Code Colonies consulting team runs its mandates and engagements on Synerger. You see the request list, the findings and the plan as they change, so the final report holds no surprises.
What does Synerger advisory do?
The Code Colonies consulting team advises on mergers and acquisitions, business and management, financial and risk, and IT and digital transformation. Every engagement has a written scope and runs in a Synerger workspace you can open at any time, alongside your CA and lawyer.
Practices
Where we can help.
Each practice works to a written scope, alongside your CA and your lawyer, inside a Synerger workspace you can open at any time.
- Mergers and acquisitionsPracticeAdvisers who help you decide what to buy, sell or raise, put a defensible number on it and get the paperwork to a signature.
- Business and managementPracticeAdvisers who help an owner or leadership team make a decision about the business and then carry it out: where to grow, how to sell, how to run the shop floor, who runs what. Work is scoped as a Synerger engagement, with milestones, status reports and a decision log.
- Financial and riskPracticeAdvisers who help you plan the money, find the risks that could hurt a deal or a lender relationship, and put controls in place that an investor or buyer will trust.
- IT and digital transformationPracticeAdvisers who help you decide which systems the business needs, how they should fit together and in what order to change them. The build itself goes to the Code Colonies technology team.
How an engagement runs
Written down before it starts.
- Step 1A first callConfidential, and under an NDA if you want one before sharing anything.
- Step 2A written scopeWhat we will do, what you will receive, who does what, and how you will judge it done.
- Step 3Work in the openMilestones, findings and drafts sit in your Synerger workspace as they happen.
- Step 4AcceptanceYou check the work against the scope and accept it on the record in Synerger.
How it is bought
Engagement models with a written scope.
Most advisory work runs under one of the Code Colonies engagement models. The right one depends on how clearly the work can be described up front.
| Model | How it works | Where it fits |
|---|---|---|
| O2EOutput based | A signed scope says what done means. You pay after you accept the output. | Valuations, diligence, structuring and integration plans with a clear deliverable. |
| FDEForward deployed | Our advisers work inside your deal team while the problem is still taking shape. | Live mandates and integrations where the work changes week by week. |
| 2goodBuild work after a deal | Systems work after a deal: INR 199 or USD 2 an hour, 150 hour minimum, no advance. | ERP, CRM and reporting changes the integration plan calls for. |

Alongside your advisers
Your CA and your lawyer stay on the deal, in the same workspace.
